Is this what politics is REALLY about?
Are all politicians like this?

A very good piece about the occupation of Boston and the Occupy Movement in general. It speaks on a personal level, and it is a nice change from reading news stories that try to take out the emotion and leave only the facts in hopes to be unbiased (which I am not discrediting them for, that is their job).
During Occupy Orlando, a wide variety of people came to have their voices heard. The following are some of my favorite posterboard quotes of the day:
“This may not be my job, but it’s my occupation”
“Teachers are the job creators”
“I’m in the 99%, I can’t afford a lobbyist”
“I’m a public school teacher and I pay more taxes than GE”
“‘If the people of the nation understood the banking system, I believe there would be a revolution by tomorrow morning’ -Henry Ford”
“People are too big to fail”
got this from @jaxsun (here’s the link)
(i’m sorry people idk how to share pics/stuff from twitter to tumblr and i tried doing the sharing directly from twitter and it didn’t work… so.. you’ll get these for now xD; i’ll do my best to credit properly.)
Just because they are too young to vote does not mean they should not be heard!

Occupy Orlando Global Day of Action
A little teary eyed and chills.
It’s amazing such a diverse group of people can all rally together. We are the 99%
